Elkmont Rails-to-Trail

A rails to trail project that goes north and south from the Elkmont town square. The northern part is about 5 miles to the town of Veto at the Tenn. state line. Side roads are used for the last part of the trail at Veto. The south trail goes about 2 miles. This trail is also used by horses.

From US-72, go north on Jefferson St., 2.1 miles. This turns into highway 127, go about 7.7 mi. Turn right on Upper Fort Hampton Road and go about .7 mi. to the town hall and the trailhead.
