Cross Country Rider Summary: Probably your best bet in Mobile these days. Well maintained, fast single track. Spiders everywhere...if you are the first one on the trail that day...be prepared for a few banana spider face plants in the summer.
Though more or less flat, there is more net elevation change than you'd otherwise expect....and lots of features to keep you interest...such as roots, 2x4 bridges, logs, etc. Recommended Route: Burn up the trails at the park entry and head under the I-65 for the interesting stuff. Forget about the trail map available at the office...it looks like my 3 year old made it with crayons.
You'll get disoriented in the trails under the interstate...but to get out of there just keep turning towards the noise of interstate...eventually that will sort you out.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Visited this trail over the Thanksgiving holiday (rainy) and the trail was quite damp... drenched in fact. Looks as if the trail has recovered a little since the hurricane. The maps that the park give upon entry really blow, so beware. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bethel Roads

Weekend Warrior Summary: Get out there an maintain this trail!
Its in bad shape over two months after Hurricance Ivan. I was just visiting, so I can't do trail maintenance myself, but whoever does, is letting this one go to waste.
I couldn't get past the branches getting stuck in my brakes, spokes, etc to ride with enjoyment. It looked like there was an effort to put markers on the main trail, but no effort was put in the trail itself. Recommended Route: Entry is hard to find. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bethel Trails - Biloxi,MS
Oak Mountain State Park - Birmingham, AL

Weekend Warrior Summary: I would Just like to revise my review. I think I'm the only person to have gone on some of the trail in the last year. It is a pain in the butt to ride, b/c there is a lot of tight turns and The trail is covered with pine straw. It looked like no one rides it, but i know that is not the case cuz i saw a big group out there on my way in. The Setup is nice, but It needs more riders on the back sections. Recommended Route: The disc golf course, its phat. Other recommended trails in the same area: Bethel road for me, it is kept up a lot better.
