Weekend Warrior Summary: This is a great trail. In fact, its one of the better ones I've been on in awhile. There's nothing very technical or anything about it. I liked how fast paced it can be and how winding some of the fast turns are. I seemed to get about 5 1/2 miles out of the loop and it was a very good workout. There are some nice views such as a little pond that has a small dock that goes out over it and there are a couple of log jumps to go over also. Recommended Route: I started by eering to the left. I've heard the right is easier. Other recommended trails in the same area: First trail I've ridden in Alabama.

Cross Country Rider Summary: About 6 miles of singletrack. Very twisty and covered with leaves and pine straw so watch your tire selection. A very flat trail with some roots and not much excitement for the adrenaline junky. This trail's record time as I have heard from the local bike shop is 28:20. The local bike shop to visit is just down the road at Dothan Cycle and Fitness. If you are looking to brush up on your tracking lines and turns this is a very good loop ride to work out a good cardio ride. If you are pushing yourself for speed this can be a fun loop to keep time. Recommended Route: To the right as you enter the trail seems to be the route of choice. Other recommended trails in the same area: Fort Rucker has a few trails that have a pretty good fun factor but no actual loop to follow.

Weekend Warrior Summary: New section has been added bringing the loop up to about 5.5 miles. Previous info about lap time is out the window. Ride fast and thank the kind folks at Troy State Dothan for this fun trail. Recommended Route: The trail is a loop. Other recommended trails in the same area: Swayback Bridge in Wetumpka

Weekend Warrior Summary: Wow...well, being that I've only been riding mountain bikes... a year or so now off and on, I'd say this trail is quite an experience. So, let's discuss.
I found out about it on mtbr.com believe it or not searching on Google.com for local trails to ride on and I've been living in Dothan since I was 6 months old, I've passed TSUD several hundred times I'm sure lol. But anyways...
This trail is amazing, sharp turns, hilly, they even through a few log jumps in there for you to keep your attitude alive. It's rather large I do have to say, being only that I've ridden smaller trails, this was quite a experience for myself. But for others it may be a bit differnt being that they have ridden bigger, longer trails.
All and all this is a really great trail, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to ride. Have fun, be safe, and take care guys! Recommended Route: There's 2 entrace ways (if forks off) into the trail, A left and a right.
BEGINNERS: Take the right trial. ( lol, I made the mistake of taking the left trail my 1st time, bad mistake might I add...) The right trail is a good start if you've never been on it before and allows you to warm up if you decide to try the left entrance way. This side of the trail is fun, it's not for endurance at all, so for you "expert" bikers out there take your left, you'll have more fun on that one ;) But I highly recommmend beginners to start on the right trail at the main entrace.
EXPERTS: Left side for you guys & gals hehe, this trail provides some major hair pin turns, log jumps, roots all over the place to keep your endurance level high and just about a all around workout I do say so myself lol. It's a ruff one... Other recommended trails in the same area: I'd recommend Westgate Park's 3 mile trail, it's a bit wider than TSUD's "bike" trail, because people walk, run, and take their dogs on it, but you can still bike it. I'd warm up on that trail before I go running out to TSUD's campus trail, you'll need it! (for the beginners that is hehe) ;)

Cross Country Rider Summary: Caught this trail just before dark while traveling. The loop has some gentle, sustained climbs. Winding, fast, and a very pretty piece of property. Recommended Route: I went counterclockwise, seemed to work fine.
