Weekend Warrior Summary: Partially rode this trail today (on the dry areas). Due to recent rains and the resulting mud, I did not want to contribute to erosion. From what I rode and saw, this trail is short and smooth . Well worth it. This is where you go to work on speed and endurance (since you just keep looping, you'll get a great workout). Nice turns. It lacks the annoying wet tree roots the hills and Memorial Park have. In addition, it is a one-way trail. Hopefully, folks will adhere to this. Watch for hikers as they apparently do not have enough hiking space with the 5+ miles of HIKING trails at they have available to them at Sugar Land Memorial Park.
I am a resident of Sugar Land. This is just a great addition to the community. It was built with love and in recognition of a MTB and outdoor enthusiast, thus I ask we do what we can to maintain them in top order.
Have a great ride. Recommended Route: One direction. Single track

Weekend Warrior Summary: I read about this new trail the other day and decided to give it a try. It's very short with no real uphills or downhills to climb. It's more of a pump track than a cross country trail but that's what makes it fun. There are about 15 TTF's along the trail that you can try or you can chicken out and go around them. All are built very solid and are fun to go over. A couple have nice drop-offs at the end. Be carefull as one is located next to the bank of the Brazos River and if you fall off it's a long way down. The only other park I know of in the Houston area with these features is Jack Brooks. It's worth a trip if you're tired of Memorial, Cypresswood, or the Anthills. Recommended Route: Take I-59 South to University Drive. Turn south on University. The road dead-ends at Commonwealth. Turn right on Commonwealth to enter the park. Turn left onto the gravel road and park at the end. The trailhead is located in the woods to the south. Other recommended trails in the same area: Jack Brooks, Memorial Park
