The trail is currently marked by orange ribbon on your right hand side. The trail is a cross between Warda and the Anthills. The North Beach section that starts at the intersection of Cottonwood trails and the Brazos trails is a pretty good workout. More expansion is in order for the fall.

Trail Directions
Take I-10 to the park exit at the town of San Felipe, just east of Sealy. Take the San Felipe Exit #723-FM 1458 (I think the sign for the park on I-10 got knocked down) There is Knox truck stop along I-10 at the exit. Head north on FM 1458 till you see a sign for the park, about 2-3 miles. Watch your speed on FM 1458, 40-45mph, the San Felipe police love to hand out tickets to speeders. Turn left on Park Road 38. If you approach or cross the Brazos river on FM 1458 you have gone too far. Pay your entrance fee. The trailhead is just over the Bolinger Creek bridge. You can park by the swimming pool.

Summary:
This trail is great for beginners. Pretty much flat but flowy. You can get some good speed. The terrain is very smooth dirt/sand, no roots at all. There are some small short climbs here and there but no lung busters. Also, not very crowded and has great scenery. Very fun will try it again!

Recommended Route:
Counterclockwise starting near the Golf Courses.
