Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Cross Country Rider Summary: Well it sounds like it used to freakin rock but I found it this last summer, summer of 07 and it sucked real bad! No trail connecting it to East End Park and some idiot developers destroyed all the forested land due to their greed and probably a large chunk of the trail. It really sucked, it took like 2 minutes to go through it. I could tell that it used to be awesome but now since the developers destroyed most of it, nobody cares about it anymore! Screw developers and their freakin greed. They destroy so much land in Houston, they need to die or at least stop destroying all of our open spaces! Sucks too because I live in Kingwood during the summers, and Arkansas the rest of the year which rocks for MBing. It is like 1 mile away from my house in Kingwood. Sounds like it started sucking in 03. Tis a shame! Recommended Route: its been destroyed by developers and is in great need of expansion and care! Other recommended trails in the same area: Lake houston park.

Cross Country Rider Summary: A good trail now that they have rebuilt the bridges. It is fun to ride if you have some spare time to ride. Not very technical some parts are though. Recommended Route: Just follow the hot pink markes (if their there) and you will be fine. Other recommended trails in the same area: East end park

Weekend Warrior Summary: This trail is flat and paved over with pressed gravel. It is now a old person jogging, dog walking, stroller rolling park. If you are looking to just ride your bike on something that is not concrete and you live in kingwood then come on down. Recommended Route: all of it as fast as you can repeatedly Other recommended trails in the same area: lake houston state park in the fall or winter. ( Big spiders on the trail in the summer). good cardio. huntsville state park too. Memorial and the ant hills

, from houston Summary: Used to be o.k. Now all bridges are washed away totally. Trail is unmarked, chaotic, sections have been wiped out due to development. If you are a local, go play around on it, otherwise don't make a trip out to Kingwood just to ride this trail, you will be disapointed. Recommended Route: Follow Kingwood drive until it dead ends then park. Other recommended trails in the same area: Cypresswood in Spring, or Memorial Park in Houston are the closest that are worth riding.

Ridden Trail: Every few months

Reviewed by: Veljko
, from Houston, TX Summary: Originally this trail had some nifty bridges etc. but most of them were torn down last time I roded it in the winter. It's mostly flat so appropriate for beginners but it needs a lot of work to keep it going. Recommended Route: Along the lake, over the obstacles. Other recommended trails in the same area: If you want other than flat trails, head to Rocky Hill or Ward, while it's still open. Huntsville's not too bad.
