Cross Country Rider Summary: Overall, this is a very fun trial. It has plenty of technical challenges along with some physical challenges but is not so difficult as to overwhelm most riders. It provides a little bit of everything including jumps, bridge crossings, logs, roots, rocks, and whoop-dee-doos. Recommended Route: I prefer to start at Terry Hershey Park (located just west of Eldridge on Memorial Drive), take the paved path across Buffalo Bayou, and then drop down to the trails just below Eldridge. From here you can go fast and furious all the way to the bowls I like to call The Promise Land just east of Willcrest. You can see a detailed ride plan, complete with mileage, at www.outdoor-joe.com

Weekend Warrior Summary: Rider below, get your info correct. Horba might of installed some bridges but us locals have been building these trails long before they where whoever they think they are? (over 20 years). Recommended Route: any and all

Cross Country Rider Summary: Start at Terry Hershey Park on Memorial Drive. nice parking lot, it has restrooms and your car won't get vandelized. Just before you head out look at the map posted at the trail head. It will be paved trails for awhile then it will turn into single track , at this point we should all should get on our knees and thank GHORBA for a great job they do. Anyway the dirt trails are on the south side of the park and you head east. Ride fast Ride hard keep your head up and have fun. Keep Buffalo Bayou on your left and you will have a great time. After it rains the trail is really slick (clay) but,the day after it rains it hooks up like a mofo.http://www.briarhills.org/HersheyPark/HersheyPark.htm Recommended Route: Any Trail, On any Bike is a Good Day Other recommended trails in the same area: Rocky Hill Ranch, Huntsville,Bluff Creek Ranch, and yes even cypresswood all though it is not very long, if you get the lead out of your ass it could be very fun.

Weekend Warrior Summary: stay away from the beltway parking lot. we started riding from there a couple of weeks ago and had a nice welcome home of a broken window and all the gear stolen. if you see two guys in a red japanese sports car hanging out call the cops!

Cross Country Rider Summary: Great trail, but not the very best. Watch out for some people and people with dogs that sometimes wander on to the trails. Recommended Route: Many ways to get there, but the easiest is to use the I-10 enterence and ride on the pavement a while until you see the dirt trail. Go under the bridge. Other recommended trails in the same area: Except for Memorial Park, none in Houston> Go to the Texas Hill Country for the very best.
