, from Houston, TX Summary: Brazos Bend is a nice place to relax and spend some time riding through the scenic outdoors. There is nothing technical (go to the Ant Hills or Clay Canyon for that), but the trails are still fun and I really enjoy them. Don't bother going if its has rained in the area in the last 2 to 3 days unless you like swimming in mud. Recommended Route: find a dirt path and ride it! Other recommended trails in the same area: Clay Canyon is very close, Ant hills

, from Richmond, TX Summary: This is a very average trail for the serious rider, but is a good ride for families with kids. There is a lot of nature and wildlife to look at. Beware of the gators though. They like to sun bath on the paths and right on the edge of the water. Check out my pics from the ride. http://www.jacksonville.net/~jgandy2/Brazos/index.htm Recommended Route: Several to choose from. Just get a map and pick one. I started at the first parking lot.

, from Houston Summary: A nice place to spend the day and see some wild life. There are trails and you can get some miles in on the roads too. Nothing technical at all. Just a nice place to ride and usually not very crowded. Recommended Route: Southeast of Houston

, from Houston (Cy-Fair) Summary: We started from the west end of the park, so there were a lot of flat foot trails that allowed for quick sprints and a steady cadence. From there, we used the roads to cross over to the east end where the more bike-oriented trails are located. Red Buckeye was quite a lot of fun, and Whiteoak was alright. AFTER A RAIN, THERE IS LOTS OF GUMBO! QUITE A WORKOUT! We logged about 20 miles in a couple of hours due to the mud. It's a scenic ride, not very technical, but good for beginner to intermediate. Recommended Route: Drive. Then ride. Other recommended trails in the same area: Ant Hills, Cypresswood
