A unique combination of MTB, Free Ride and BMX trails and stunts. BMX bowls are established, MTB & Free Ride new as of 7/04. Currently has a loop A that starts just to the right of the first BMX bowl. Loop A is short, but with some tight twisties through the trees and a couple of dips and drops. Trail comes out of the woods and runs beside the ball fields to the "Monster Bridge", a very cool suspension bridge high above a creek. Once on the other side of the bridge you are now on loop B.
Take an immediate right off of the Monster Bridge to start a nice flowing run that goes alongside the creek. Some great off camber dips and climbs with some exposure to the first build ups (a ladder crossing over a large fallen tree).
B then weaves back and forth for a quick cardio run through a flat forested part of the park. Another good log jump and then cross the paved road to the back side of B loop. This is where the fun built stunts are.
You wind through a little bit of terrain before climbing up a fall line. The trail curves back down the fall line and gives 3 options back to flats: A double banked roller coaster with a 3 foot drop to transition. A wooden platform drop of 10-15 feet to either transition or flat if you pedal it. Or just to the right of the platform is an off camber cross country drop. All 3 funnel back into the main trail that winds through the trees some more. You then come across another series of build stunts that include platforms and dirt jumps. The trail eventually winds back to the ridge line where there is a high angle climb of about 50 feet, get your speed up good to try to make this one. Once at the top of the ridge you have two drops to choose from: BiC's Balls Drop (very agressive) and another intermediate level cross country drop. BiC's Balls Drop can give about a twenty foot air drop to transition with pedal, or you can roll it cross country style. Both drops carry alot of speed back toward the trail. The cross country drop actually takes you to a large dirt double with a span of about 12 feet.
From this point the trail meanders back toward the Monster Bridge. This is a brand new trail so more is being added almost every day.
SW Fort Worth area off of I-20/820 merger. Take Winscott North from I-20 until you cross the railroad tracks (less than 1 mile). Park entrance is on the left, trail head parking is on the immediate right upon entering the park.
Summary: Bad news riders, the city has buldozed all of the beautiful bmx jumps and trails, and knocked over all of the wooden stunts on the mtb trails. Im not sure what happened but the message board is gone and no one maintains the trail anymore. I am a local and ride this trail twice a week. The loops are still there and in good shape, mostly single track with some cool creek crossings and short technical climbs.
Recommended Route: drop in the trail nearist the street, thats A loop. stick to the outside right on the trail and follow the creek to the monster bridge. After crossing the bridge B loop is to the right. I ride it two to three times and then ride C. C loop is very, very technical and has some short but super challenging climbs and decents, lots of fun

Summary: New favorite trail in DFW area. Great in summertime because most of trail is shaded, including BMX area. If you are looking to work on jumps, try this trail out!
Recommended Route: Trail is only 3 miles, so jump on anywhere you can and take off.

Summary: I can say nothing negative about this park. Z-Boaz is so well maintained that it brings a tear to my eye. The park offers 3 different trails for differing skill levels and riding preferences. The A loop consists primarily of BMX jumps and is usually inhabited by the BMXers. They are pretty good, so if you want to take an entertaining break, you can go watch them for a while. The B loop offers a long singletrack that stays near the Trinity River and has plenty of dips and fast turns, but nothing too difficult. The end of B has a great area with 4 options for dropping down a hill. This is where I find myself spending quite a bit of time (if you go, you'll see why). The C loop is marked "Expert Trail". It offers lots of fast drops, tight turns, good ascents, some woodwork and a fun little drop near the end of the trail. Although I've never seen any horses on the trails, their poo is ever-present, so keep an eye out for them.
Recommended Route: I-20 west to 377 north---turn right onto Z-Boaz Rd South then go left (it T's off almost immediately. Right in front of the red stables, there is a place to park. go down the road on your bike past the gate. This is the trailhead for both B and C.

Summary: Rode the trail yesterday at Z-Boar Park. The trail was poorly marked. Going to ride the trail again today and try to figure out the layout of A Loop and B Loop. Found young men in the park riding a motorcycle on the BMX trails and MTB trails

Summary: It's great to have a new trail in this part of DFW. Kind of short right now, but lots of fun! 3 or 4 laps makes for a good workout and you can't get bored with all the jumps and crazy stuff. Check it out, I guarantee you'll be back for more.
Recommended Route: Take the trail head towards the BMX stuff, there is an entrance through a gulley on the right. For the most part follow the flags and ribbons, don't go where there are branches stacked in front of some of the BMX trails.
