Cross Country Rider Summary: rode horeshoe and devil's backbone and back on earls way.....
devil's backbone is the tuffest trail in texas...4.5 miles with over 2500' elevation change. i checked myself into a muenster beir-haus for fluid replacement
IMPORTANT :review the website (http://www.barhbreaks.com/our_trails.htm) .
this interactive trail map describes each trail section. you can piece together a ride to fit your talents and abilities. pre-plan your ride as currently there is no map at trail head. trail junctions are marked but no big ole TH orientation map. you'll be shooting from the hip if you don't.
wonderful complex of trails with water and showers and bathroom. $6.00 daily fee. camping too.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Here is a link to their website www.barhbreaks.com Over 20 miles of trails.....beautiful singletrack's....all levels. Bring a full camel back and don't even think about goin out without a map. First time I went they were out of maps and my friend and I got turned around and were out there until 11:30pm lost....it was a blast, but a little scary without a light, good adventure though. I go out at least once a month...it's about 1.5 hours drive from where I am in Wichita Falls, TX. I just started riding this place in May......so I cant wait until this fall when it cools off, thats when it will be really nice out there. It is open all year except during deer season. Recommended Route: The most fun is the Hole in the Tree..... it's al down hill and you get going fast with some nice little embankment turns and drops.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Do NOT use the trail map/location listed above (near San Angelo) unless/until corrected to find Bar-H, it is nowhere near San Angelo (a few hours away).
Backup to the Texas Trails "Other Cities" listing and find Bar-H (not this Dallas listing), and it has the correct location on it.
