Cross Country Rider Summary: Do NOT use the trail map/location listed above (near San Angelo) unless/until corrected to find Bar-H, it is nowhere near San Angelo (a few hours away).
Backup to the Texas Trails "Other Cities" listing and find Bar-H (not this Dallas listing), and it has the correct location on it.

Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Plano, TX Summary: This is probalby my favorite trail in the Dallas area. With about 20 miles of trails there's something for everyone but you're never too far from the car to take a quick lunch break. Gets insanely hot in the summer but find me a trail in Texas that doesn't. Overall its definitely worth the drive and in relation to other trails in the area I have to give it a 5. Recommended Route: The following is only for the masochists: Armadillo Flats->Hole In the Tree->The Oaks->Horseshoe->Earls Way->Devils Backbone->Tough Breaks ->Earls Way ->Copperhead ->Commanche Dance

, from Dallas, TX Summary: Had a great time on these trails and there is something for everyone. It's only about an 1 1/2 hours north of Dallas and is well worth the drive. Be sure to pick up a map at the front and take it on the trail. The trails cross over each other in spots and it's easy to get turned around. It definitely gets 5 stars for a Texas trail. Recommended Route: Armadillo Flats, Sidewinder, Copperhead, they're all good
