This trail is a rocky fire road that is within the boundaries of Guadalupe Mountains National Park. It starts from 180/62 just before the road climbs up the pass. It is approximately 7 miles and goes to the base of the mountain to Williams Ranch. It is a fairly easy grade, but is very rocky. Go early or late in the spring/summer mountains as there is no tree coverage and salt flat gets very hot. Not terribly interesting ride, but something to get the legs going if you are out visiting the area. The scenery is nice and the sunset in salt flat looking at the mountains can be pretty spectacular.

Recommended Route:
Out and back- only trail within the park that is legal to ride on.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
El Paso area trails- Franklin State Park, Redd Road trails (1.5-2 hour drive)
Carlsbad- La Cueva trails (30-45 min drive)
