Summary:
I'm from Palestine and I didn't even know about this trail. This trail was intended for hikers, not bikes. After going out there and getting posion ivy. I've concluded you'd be better off doing circles in the Wal-mart parking lot. There are much better trails made for mountain bikes.

Recommended Route:
I'd stay off it. There is no up keep and unless you tell someone that you are going no one will ever find you out there.

There was a long list you were just looking at, pick one.

Summary:
This is a great trail. It is however a different trail than the bike and hike trail mentioned in the review before this one. It's kinda hard to explain how to get to it, me and my buddy Colt kinda stumbled upon it when we were riding through the park. If you are looking at the entrance to the bike/hike trail, the exit to this trail is directly left. This trail has some tough uphills, downhills, and switchbacks that'll make a woman out of you. Definitely a workout. Great for training, trails are more like Tyler State Park rather than Cameron, but still pretty fun

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Tyler State Park, Cameron Park.

Summary:
FIRST I'D LIKE TO SAY THAT I'M NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE "HIMM" TRAIL I'VE READ REVIEWS ABOUT BEFORE BECAUSE THE ONLY SIGNS ARE FOR A NATURE TRAIL AND FOR THE DOGWOOD HIKE AND BIKE TRAIL (THE TRAIL I RODE). THE TRAIL STARTS OFF GENTLY THEN STARTS TO GET A LITTLE HILLY BUT NOTHING TO DIFFICULT ALTHOUGH YOU NEED GOOD BRAKES ON THE DOWNHILLS OR YOU WILL END UP IN A TREE. ALSO WATCH FOR DOWNED AND LOW OVERHANGING TREES AND LIMBS. THE LAST HALF OF THE TRAIL IS FAIRLY FLAT AND PROVIDES A GOOD COOLDOWN. LIKE INSAID THE TRAIL IS GOOD FOR TRAINING IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE TO FAR. IF THIS IS NOT THE SAME TRAIL AS THE HIMM TRAIL I WISH SOMEONE WOULD PUT UP A SIGN. I ALSO WISH THEIR WERE MORE MTN BIKERS IN THIS AREA SO THE PALESTINE PARKS DEPT WOULD DEVELOPE MORE TRAILS BECAUSE THIS PLACE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE AS GOOD OR BETTER THAN TYLER STATE PARK, WELL MAYBE IT WILL HAPPEN SOMEDAY.

Recommended Route:
L. 256 TO N.LINK TO DAVEY DOGWOOD PARK, FOLLOW PARK ROAD.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
TYLER STATE PARK
