George Mitchell Preserve

As of this writing, a brand new singletrack trail in The Woodlands, TX. As this trail is very new, no real lines have been formed and the trail is in some sections completely covered by leaves/pineneedles. There is flagging tape at eye level the entire way to help you find your way.

This loop trail has no significant elevation changes and no significant obstacles to be cleared. The occasional log to roll over and root patch. There are MANY turns on this trail (pretty much constantly) so you will get to work on your cornering skills. Some turns are extremely tight but hey that makes it fun.

Trail is well marked and impossible to get lost on AND is solely meant for bicyclists. Be sure to make your presence known as many turns are blind. Overall I would rate this trail a 4/5 for what it is (a beginner, single track, short non-technical loop). I felt that it became almost TOO turny as it's only major downfall.

Parking available at trailhead and is well marked, map of trail available at the TH.
