Summary:
These trails are really fun for being in South-central Texas. The upper trails are more aerobic since there are some pretty descent climbs. Lower trails are a little faster and they flow a little better. Neither is very technical at all. There are a couple moderately technical parts on both trails but nothing more than a 3 out of 5 chilis. I was impressed by how pretty the ranch is. Beautiful views, clean air and nobody in sight. I met the owners of the ranch. Very nice people. Please respect the trails and the family who is so kind to allow us to ride.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
El Paso trails (northeast trails, Franklin Mountain State Park and Redd Road trails) are incredible. Check out the Puzzler race in January. Great event and a sick trail.

Summary:
Rode the lower loop in its entirety. Fantastic trail. Climbs are all laid out so well they don't burn you out....next thing you know you are on a ridge descending long downhills....super fun. Best trail I've ridden around San Antone. I like this trail much better than Lincoln Parish Park in Louisiana....it's much more expansive in its feel, higher speeds........flows.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
None compare. OP/McCallister are ok...but not close to Flat Rock...

Summary:
This has been the funnest trail I have ridden in central Texas. They are in great shape, well marked and diverse. I really enjoyed the downhill sections with good drops and straight runouts that let you get some big air. One of my favorite sections is the jump at Hospital Hill.

Recommended Route:
I rode one 9 mile loop each of the three days I was there. I liked both of them but I think the pipeline hill route was a tad more fun.
