1 reviews
 4 of 5

8 mile Single Track Loop located at North Entrance San Angelo State Park.

Nearly flat , smooth single Track that winds in an 8 mile loop to "rest area" and returns. Only a few short , ruff sections.

Excellent ride for newbies and families who want a single track experience.

Connects with tuffer sections as you go past "rest area" and ride to South Entrance of State Park

Water fountain at "rest area". see ranger for map.

Summary:
great long ST with little elevation change. a few ruff sections. lots of twists and turns. about 75% is smooth sand and the rest rocky. 8 mile loop.

great place to bring the kids and Mom for a first ride. plenty of length but no major challenges or hazards.

signage is a little tricky , so you can practice your navigation skills.

map at ranger station.

i rate it 4 as a great ST for the novice or families.
