Cross Country Rider Summary: Just as Harold says, its a great place to bike in the valley. Can't go too fast due to all the technical sections linked together, but it's fun trying! Crazy drops(widow maker, bike breaker) Fun drops(back drop, up and down, top of rattlesnake) Very Dangerous singletrack everywhere...LONG SLEEVES and protection and tools/spares REQUIRED.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Today was my first time trying the trail and it was way better than I expected from the RGV. There are some really impressive downhills, jumps, turns, the whole works.
My only complaint were some parts were really scary in terms of at any second you could slam into a massive amount of cactus LOL. SLIME the tires is a MUST as you could literally go through 3 tubes easily in a day.

, from Mission Summary: Make sure you have printed a map from the club site photo Gallery in order to take advantage of everything there. [(username: guestbike. password: guestbike)this will put into the club site. goto photo gallery]. Excellent training ground for newbies along with some pretty serious downs for thrill seekers. The trail as of this date is 6.8 miles yet when linked to the Bentson ride (email me for directions) its a 16-20 mile ride. Fast trails and great for night rides. Please make sure the gate is closed behind you in the evenings (after dark) when you leave. The time trial section is short but requires a lot of technical ability at faster speeds. Exposed roots, low limbs, rugged terrain, are all part of this section. The wet back loop is very fast and includes lots of minor twists and turns without causing a reduction in speed. Watchout out for the cactus! Bring tweezers, slime your tires and enjoy! Recommended Route: Exit South on conway in Mission from expressway 83. Travel approx 3/10 mile; Mission Nature Trails will be to your right. Look for the green sign Other recommended trails in the same area: Flat Rock. Go there. Do It. Love it. Tell your friends!
