Cross Country Rider Summary: I went out to try this trail the other day. It was highly recommended by a friend of mine. I was not at all disappointed. The trail is well covered by the tree canopy. The day I rode it was muddy in a lot of spots, and it hadn't rained in a week. This trail was a little tougher than expected. It was told to me that this trail was really fast. I guess that all depends on how dangerous you want it to be. This is a very tight trail that only goes in one direction. There are few rocks, and the dirt is red. Not that the color of the dirt really matters. What makes this trail difficult is the tight turns around the trees. To maintain speed at this trail you need to really lean into the turns the only problem is there are trees at every single turn. Climbing up the levy on the Goat trail was the most difficult climb of the trail and it really wasn't bad at all. I only rode the east loop and did a couple of the trails twice. This ended up to be 15 miles of riding. This is the kind of trail that once you learn it a little you can fly right through it. It was my first time and I was moving pretty good. The trail was a little hard to see with all the leaves on the ground. All in all I really enjoyed the trail. I drove all the way from San Antonio to ride and would do it again in the future, it was enjoyable. Recommended Route: Go to the east loop. Start at the Roller Coaster and do the whole thing ending with Last Call. It switches sides over the service road every once in a while but every time you see a sign do the trail. Ride hard, the ride is only as good as you make it. That's why I give the overall rating a 4. It was not amazingly challenging but a lot of fun. Other recommended trails in the same area: Rocky Hill.

, from College Station Summary: this is a great trail to learn on. get a map before you get lost, and remember your helmet! the fine out here is more than buying a new Giro. Overall this trail is great! It's getting too easy for me so I started riding it at night.

, from League City, TX Summary: Park has an East and West Loops, about 9 miles in length each. East Loop is more technical, and if you're lazy, the West Loop has a levy road you can ride on back to the park. But at the end of the road is Sunset Strip and Skinny-dip Loop. Skinny-dip has a nice little beach you and your lady can stop at and take a swim. Cold, clean water, and clean beach. Camping is cheap, but only four primitive spots...lots of RV spaces. We got married there last Feb. 3rd, and rode afterwards. Recommended Route: Up Hwy 6, through Bryan, turn left onto 2818 (? Bryan Business Park), then right at the yellow light, several more miles to the park entrance. Trailheads are at the park entrance.
