Fort Richardson State Park

Dreary, dull. Waste of dirt. Ten miles of dry, dusty, and boring. The few challenges besides a couple of climbs are off the approved path and not to be ridden. Useful for training if you have an event comming up in hell. The "paved" path isn't asphalt. Just well compacted clay. The intermediate rating is for the length and some modest climbs. On the other hand, before the trail was built, there was some neat stuff after you pass under the 199 bridge over Lost Creek. That was city property and had some decent technical sections if you were willing to hunt for it. I don't know if that is still open to the public.

Summary:
I loved these trails they are full of beauty and solitude. The trails may not be perfect for the pro but they were just right for me and I was not intimidated by them and at the same time challenged.
