Cross Country Rider Summary: Woah this trail is terrible! Its so overgrown I didn't know where to go most of the time. The trails just end all of a sudden and you have to double back. Seems like its just a huge mound with intertwined trails going up and down the other side. I tried to follow the other reviewers instructions but had no real luck finding a good single track out there. Recommended Route: Go else where...like mission or brownsville...or stay on the paved trail.

Weekend Warrior Summary: My mother told me not to go but my older brother told me he had heard lots of good stuff about it. In my opinion it was not that good at all, maybe if its your first time riding you'll have a good time and get some scratches here and there due to the tightness of the trail and the heavy bristly vegetation. Since i've been riding bikes for 4 years its not what i expected. I was a disapointment and a total let down, im never going to go back to this trail ever again. i would not recommend this for anyone there are plenty of other begginer trials in the valley.

, from Mission, Texas U.S.A. Summary: From Arroyo Park follow the sidewalk north and down to the Arroyo Colorado and cross the wooden slat bridge. This portion is part of a 4 mile paved double track hiking and biking trail managed by the City's Park and Recreation Department. After crossing the bridge over the Arroyo Colorado you'll see a large sign on your right called 'The Thicket'. Several trailheads start about 100 feet further down the open dirt and up the hill. You'll find numerous short, tight, and twisty single track with short climbs and exciting downhills. Do wear a long sleeve shirt due to the tightness of the trail and the heavy thorny vegetation. No wonder it's called The Thicket. Recommended Route: Off of Highway 83 in Harlingen take the F Street Exit and stay on the south frontage road until you reach New Hampshire Street. Go left underneath the overpass (1/2 mile) until you run into Arroyo Park.
