Summary:
I reveiw this trail because there are so few trails in the area of Dvis Mtns and Alpine. Also there is no traffic on paved section.

short ST up to overlook. the whole loop including paved Skyline is 4 mi. i made 2 loops and got 1000' elevation.

enjoy the scenery.....lovely hotel and restraunt and pool in the park.

its not all epic in life.

intermediate ..and 70% paved park road.

For additonal exercise go towards McDaonld Obseravtory on State Hwy. Stop where hill starts to climb. Ride 1500' elevation gain over 4 mi. to Observatory.
NO TRAFFIC
