, from Houston Summary: These trails are not for beginners. It's got plenty of hills, jumps, and barriers (mostly roots, but a few rotting bridges as well). Watch out on some of the tight turns, you may end up going into the bayou or smashing trees. Bring a helmet and have fun. There's some easier trails for beginners as well as some paved routes. And it's not the bikers who are messing up the muddy trails, it's the horses, who leave 2ft holes all over the path. Recommended Route: We took 45South to the 1764/2004 exit. Turn right at the exit and immediately turn left at the first light (by the race track) to get to 2004. Go down 2004 just a ways, and you'll hit the park on the right.

, from League City Summary: Sorry to say, but... I went to Jack about a week ago, to check out how dry is was. It wasn't. This was obviously ignored by many riders who must have felt an overpowering urge to get muddy, because some sections are now about 4 feet wide and rutted up to 6" deep. What used to be awesome twisting singletrackis now ruined. It'll take a long time and a lotta work to get it back to the way it was. Bastards.

, from Hitchcock, Texas Summary: Brooks Rocks! Sissey's stay home. Wear your helment an' come lookin' for fun. Be careful on the weekend cuz some people ride backwards, this can be a real pain if you meet at the bottom of a tight single track downhill. Recommended Route: FM 2004 in Hitchcock Other recommended trails in the same area: Anthills in houston.

, from Santa Fe, TX Summary: This used to be the best kept secret in Texas.I have been riding these trails for over 15 years and helped build the majority of them. Helments are STRONGLY recomended because these are some tough, fast trails. By far the best riding in the Houston area and still free. Bring your bug spray though because the misquito's can be thick. There are some other trails in the park that are great for less experienced riders and the kids. Overall a great park and a great place to spend the day Recommended Route: From the parking lot take the middle gap in the trees to the canal and turn right. Trail entertance on your right and follow the arrows. Other recommended trails in the same area: Don't even try and ride the trails when they are wet. The mud is sticky and it will destroy the trails.
