Summary:
I rode this trail about a month and a half ago and just finally decided to do a review of it. I am going to start off mentioning that although Im not a heavily skilled rider, I think if you know how to control your bike and how to ride trails, this trail is doable. Just lay off the upper portion called world cup. Also, pay attention to the trail and scan ahead. On the trail there is a small jump off to the right side going downhill that if you don't clear it you will crash as there is a gap behind it.

Recommended Route:
Riding up Peutz Valley rd. Take the first trail head. The one thats before the tank. The first left takes you down a much better route to the trail. The Tank trail will take you down some loose dirt off the side of the mountain and you mostly hike it down.

Summary:
Awesome trail and fun. Shuttled to the top, and mostly ate it or walked through the world cup section (very technical), however, I've only been riding seriously for 5 months now. But I don not recommend this section to beginners or even intermediate. The rest of the trail was fast and downhill til you got towards the end of the trail which was a small climb back to the road.

Recommended Route:
Park under the 8 freeway Bridge as mentioned in the other reviews. Ride up the road a little ways til you see a trail opening. From there you can ride up and back down. Or shuttle up and be lazy like me.

Summary:
This is a great trail for downhill. fast technical in some parts rutted out big wall rides you can do on the way down. fun little jumps along the way. only thing is if you go from the bottom up. you have a good 40 min of hiking. the ride down dont last as long as id like it to only about 8 min or so. if you do world cup u can shuttle on to the top. pretty simple to get there world cup has some nice sized jumps and cool fun drops. fun to take as fast as you can like any other trail. the only thing is the pedaling near the end of that section sucks if your on a heavy dh bike like in the 40's range. but to sum it all up its a great trail worth the hiking and pedaling you have to do. great practice high speed stuff and just really fun. oh and watch out for guys coming down the trail if you hike... some of them are hauling ass. and on the way down look out for people hiking up and xc guys riding up.. mad props to them cause its pretty crazy i think

Recommended Route:
the way to shuttle up to world cup is simple but please dont drive crazy or wild and make sure to pick up your trash ect. dont want the locals to get pissed at shuttlers. thanks. so from where you Park at Peutz Rd under the 8 overpass go east up to the light. at the light make a left ur going to go over the 8. follow that road till u hit a stop at the very end make a left follow that road (victoria road) till you find anderson road make a left follow untill it turns to dirt. in the dirt road you will run into a fork STAY RIGHT if you go left its some dudes land follow that little road a little more and there is a parking area park there. continue to ride down the hill and the entrance will be on your left. its by the big rock
