Cross Country Rider Summary: Smooth to start, you can split a few different ways right before the climb more easier way is to the right on the single track, it is a very nice down hill, but caution on one of the curves, I end it with a seperated shoulder and torn ligiments.:(

Downhiller Summary: good clean fun trail. has good short fast sections with excellent technical terrain. on a cross country bike i only dismounted twice on the way up. but not too fun for me on the way down with the XC, so i only ride the downhill with my heavy freeride bike. there is no dismounting needed on the downhill. i am only 17 with like 3 years under my belt. so if you are looking for a trail that is technical and have a moderate amount of skill you could take this trail with 0 dismounts up and down Recommended Route: downhill Other recommended trails in the same area: ted willys

Weekend Warrior Summary: oooo my gosh. where to begin. well lets try the trail head. theres two i know of. ellie lane and right off the 67. park at the 67 and head on up. good way to get those legs moving. some of it doesnt seem possible to ride up. someday im not gonna give up that easily. on and off your bike over and over and over. once at the top hikers and runners will either ridicule you for riding or stare at you wondering how the hell your gonna get down(the fast way:.....down). now going down. well... i carry shin guards in my pack on the way up for the way down. i woulsdnt exactly call this extreme trail riding, not like downhilling (major props to you guys, even though you dont ride uphill, you still get pretty pumped and it actualy keepps you in shape.) so you've got some pretty plush drops down. they are a blast. i thnk the biggest there was about a 4 footer ( just guessin'. could b wrong) and you've got these burly sections of the trail where it is snaking down and it is completely rock (and im not talkin little rocks, im talking the trail is a rock.) nice jumps down the way. so you get towards the bottom. if you want some more gnarly riding, go towards ellie lane. then head back to your car on the bikelane. CAUTIONS:little kids, dogs, hikers, rattlesnakes, drops, rock gardebs, etc, etc. Recommended Route: start in the morning!!!! early!!!! Other recommended trails in the same area: not much this about as good as it gets besides for noble canyon

Downhiller Summary: jbadger, the descent on this trail is definitely rideable. I agree about wishing for an easier way up though. Totally worth the hike-a-bike/climb. Other recommended trails in the same area: Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch/Iron Mtn. and back.
