A bunch of smallish dirt jumps, drops, and tricky lines. good stuff for practice. The downhill out the southeast corner of the area is way fun and has a couple of 10-12 foot near vertical drops that are definately roll-able but way fun, as well as a loose washed out downhill section that spits you back out onto the fire road. A real short loop if you have an hour to kill. The area is also accessable from the north via a fire road that branches off to the left coming up cobal canyon (i think - whichever is the one to the left from the mills lot) in the claremont wilderness park. The trail down is rather steep and washed out in sections. I went up there with someone who ate it a number of times on that downhill, so be careful on the loose stuff and watch out for random kickers in the trail.

Trail Directions
Going north on towne from the 210 cross baseline and bear left down a trail in the corner of the church parking lot. This takes you to a fire road which you want to take to the left. after a while, you will notice 2 single tracks going off to the right about 400 yards apart. These both lead to the park. but it's better to take the second on on the way up since the first has 2 unridable drop offs (at least going up hill).

Summary:
Awesome Trail. Got hooked on it the first time i rode it. Im not a dirt jumper but the trail leading to the jumps at the bottom is a lot of fun. If you like steep rideable downhill sections with small hits here and there, this is a great trail. It really hones your skills. I know it as Webb Canyon. And there is a nice shortcut to access this trail with a very short climb if you have 2 trucks.

Recommended Route:
I like to leave one truck just outside the parking lot at the top of towne ave. There is a small gravel lot and a concrete bike path. Take the other truck one block east to Mountain St. Make a left and go all the way to the dead end where you can only turn right. This is a cul de sac where unfortunately you must park in front of some houses. At the end of the parking lot there is a short gate keeping vehicles out which is the entrance to the canyon. Under the gate and an immediate left will take you up a short fireroad climb. Past a small plateu intersection and you will see a single track uphill to the left. Climb that and it is the last climb of the ride. At the top your on a fireroad where you go left down the hill and take the first single track on the right you see. Follow that single track down to the jumps at the bottom. There is one split where you should go right. (Its just funner right). After your done at the jumps go down past the last one and left on the fire road. Your second singletrack on the right will take you through some trees and through a field where it will dead end on another fire road. Go right and you will see your truck. Have fun.

Summary:
Awsome trail, about 2/3 of the way down there are a number of little jumps and a couple of 3-4 ft drop offs. Intermidiate and up should do fine. Wear leg protection because the trail gets pretty narrow and the bushes cut up your legs and itch like hell.

Recommended Route:
tkae the fire road until you get to a transformer then go left onto the single track.
