Summary:
Rode it last week with a friend. Fun singletrack with a few obstacles. nothing a four inch trail bike can't handle. Altitude will really sap your lungs but can't beat the fresh air and fun!!

Recommended Route:
We parked at the mill creek picnic area and rode up the single track, found a few off shoots of trail that connect to the fire road system above.

90 percent Loose decomposed granite and loamy top soil. some sections reminded me of mt pinos, with the top soil super grippy. ate it in the sand though.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Fall line. Snow Summit chair is open during the week now, so fall line is open. I would ride the chair lift and go left until you til you get to the maintenance area by the water storage pond. Turn left onto upper fall line. super technical, twisty in the trees single track. Drop your seat, don't touch the brakes to much over the rough stuff and wear a full face helmet and pads.

Note: There are some obstacles that you may want to walk around if you are not up to it. Ie, log jumps, drops, rock gardens.

Note again: Riding fall line and some of the other trails up there will blow your local riding area out of the water if you live in So Cal.

one day of riding fall line is like a month of riding chessboro, without the horse crap.

Summary:
When knocking spelling, be sure to spell check yourself!!!! rite? Just an observation, no insult intended. Great trail. Directions above will get you there. A fun half day ride would be towne trail to 2N08 to 2N17 to cabin 89. Then take a right and head up lower-pineknot trail to 2N08 to grandview and down upper-pineknot to 2N08 back to towne trail.

Recommended Route:
Description is good, lots of steep and loose trail=fun
Use pineknot trails for a solid hardpack ride back up.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Many, Many, Many. For those who think Big Bear only offers fire roads...keep it up...we'll keep our singletrack to ourselves. Otherwise, check in with the local shops for the standard tours, then step it up and ask about the 'other' trails, there are many.

Summary:
a few corrections - its Cabin '89' and its a 'trail'
not a 'trial', u wont see judge judy on this one!!!
easy to find - where pineknot trail and 2n17 meet, follow 2N17 west about a half mile, youll come to a
rite turn thats doubletrack and seems like it ends out
on the vista, keep goin over the edge.....

Recommended Route:
down Cabin89 trail, back up Pineknot is a hoot...
try Castle Rock if you got some balls..

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Plantation - Wet Dream - CastleRock - Grout Bay -
