Verdugo Crestline

Verdugo Crestline - This area consists of several miles of fireroads crisscrossing several miles of singletrack. This is not a destination area. If you live near and are looking for a quick workout or if you''ve finnished La Tuna and want a little more riding then this is for you. This area can be linked to La Tuna Cyn via a mostly dirt connector. I recommend that first time users access Verdugo Crestline from the Tujunga side. For a map of this area try Los Angeles Co. Thomas Guide p.503. This place has something for all levels of rider. For beginers just ride the rolling fireroad(a few short climbs) as an out and back. Intermidate riders can add the fireroad loop up to the cross(Pasko Park) and explore some short pieces of singletrack or explore Estaban Wy, the singletrack that drops to the north from the gate on the Tujunga side. Advanced riders can make a nice loop from the Tujunga side, Ride up to the cross and connect singletrack to Woodward/Verdugo Crestline jct then desend Woodward(singletrack) to pavement and left on McGroarity St. right on Valaho Dr. right on Hirondelle Ln. right on Estaban Wy. and back on dirt to your car. If riding the loop park at McGroarity Park(McGroarity St. at Plainview). Lots of side-action and add-ons so have fun and explore.
