Summary:
this an ideal training venue if you want to get stronger on a bike. the reason being that it has great rolling hills that allow you to hammer up a grade and then recover so you can push hard the next hill. it is not technical so just use it for the cardio aspect. some single track but mostly fire road. another great benefit is that there is always a nice breeze on the ridge. for more info go to Ladera bike as they can give you more details.

Recommended Route:
there are two ways i use to enter that side of the ridge.mapquest 25 Narrow Canyon and across the street you will see the cement sidewalk leading to the trailhead. if you go to your left u will climb up to ridge that goes south and ends up toward Coventry Hills. if u turn right u will head toward Crown Valley. you can't get lost so just ride and enjoy the view looking out over Capo High and Saddleback JC.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
on the other side of the Antonio across from O'Neill st there is a SDGE sub station. look for a paved road and enter. you will see a fire road that climbs up to the other ridge. ride about a mile and u will come to a fork in the road.going right takes u toward ortega hwy. going left you will ride a fireroad that turns into singletrack that drops u down to Oso. not difficult nor technical but just fun. i never take for granted that this is my backyard. when u drop down to Oso, make a right and ride down to Wagonwheel where u will see a white picket fence and a fireroad that climbs to another ridge which will take you north to Coto. but thats a review for another day
