When my friend first took me on this trail...the first 2-3 hundred yards, I thought what a joke, and I yelled out "This is easy" he than proceeded to almost fall off his bike laughing.....little bit further, he became not so easy.....I didnt even make it halfway before falling off my sweet ride....Race Face couldnt even save my life this time......god bless the Tree People

Summary:
I'm not as good on i bike as i wish i were, so this trail is perfect for me. But starting at the bottom, this trail can really wipe someone out. The very first section of trail is quite steep. I say it's good difficulty for everyone. It's not too long at all but for us locals it's great. When i reach the top, i cross coldwater canyon and go through a brief residential area on a road that leads to a resevoir. Great downhill.

Recommended Route:
Use Laurel Canyon. Pass Ventura for a couple lights. You'll see Fryman Canyon and a dirt parking lot. This is the bottom of the "Tree People" trail. It will end at Coldwater and Mulhulland.
