Downhill and dual-slalom practice 'park'. You shuttle to the top via a dirt road. Dual / multi-rider slalom course designed for DH bikes. Steep, technical, with lots of jumps and corners. Downhill courses. Drops. Big berms. Jumps of all types, some huge. Big doubles, 20-35' tables, wood ramp jumps, 27' step down double-double's, rhythm section, etc. $12 donation and must sign waiver. Open Saturday's from 9:30 to 4:00. Usually followed by a session on nearby sick DH runs with the hardcore crew. Seen recently in Mountain Bike Action. Good time vibe with ripping course and jumps. Attracts riders through pro level. A slalom bike will have a slight edge in some corners, but it's built for DH bikes, and you will want the DH rig over the big stuff. Photographer Dave Sheppard is usually on hand if you want to air it out for pix.

What is the deal with this place is it a bike park or not? I heard about the playground and got all pumped up and no people are saying that it is not open anymore. Email me and tell me the story!

Summary:
Once a nice spot but getting dumb. Main guy who was building it seems to be gone. They dont seem to quite have the hang of building jumps now. Big take offs, with small impossibly steep landings. Ouch! What happended? It was really getting nice at the end of last year. Not worth $ or a long drive anymore :(
