, from Monrovia Summary: This place has a little bit of every thing to make it fun. XC, small and big jumps(by the water tower), short fun downhill to work on you tech skill. I try to do maintenance on this trails specialy after it rains. There are a few jumps, the small ones are easy to find and the big ones are harder to find. If a anyone would like to help me with a litle hard work we could make this place better than the Kenter Coaster. Drop me an email, please put "whittier trail" in email subject else it the email goes directly to my trash bin, I hate spam... Recommended Route: From the 605 get off on beverly go east all the way to skyline, get on bike, go exploring there are many trails (types) to chose from. Other recommended trails in the same area: All San Grabriel Mountain trails

, from Los Angeles Summary: Once you're at the top, you can go many ways down, check it out for yourself, i'm sure you'll find a track that suits your thrill. Ask people, everyone is very friendly and can give you alternative routes from that point. CAUTION: There are lots of people that go jog or walk their dogs on the way up the fire road, so if you're coming down at a high speed (Av.25-30mph) be careful with people, try to slow down and not get them cover with dirt. I ride here about 2X's a week, it's an awesome place to ride and the 20 mile drive from L.A. is totally worth it. Recommended Route: From 605, head East on Beverly until it curves into the wilderness, you'll see the fireroad entrance to the left. Park along the side and ride your way up the fireroad, it's a little steep, about a mile ride up. Other recommended trails in the same area: NONE, this place is FUN and EXITING to ride.
