Weekend Warrior Summary:
This trail is called Bell View trail and not Robinson Ranch trail. The directions above is correct to get there. I road it today 12/20/05 for the first time, but the fire road to the top has very loose dirt and rocks. More people need to ride it to pack it down. It has potential to become a very good short trail if more people ride it. Maybe someone can make this trail longer than 1.5 miles loop. Recommended Route:
Take the fireroad to the top and then take the single track (on the right) back down to the fireroad. Other recommended trails in the same area:
Whitting Ranch (Backside from Glen Ranch/Cactus Trail) to Santiago Truck Trail to Luge. San Juan Trail is my favorite located off the Ortega Highway (starting at Lower San Juan Campground/Fire Station to the top of Ortega campground).
