Paved fireroad take you to the 2200 foot summit. From the top you can go east to the fire station and to Little Tujunga Canyon or West to Wilson Canyon or San Fernando Rd. Not technical at all. Good for those riders looking for a good workout. Lore has it that John Tomac did interval training rides on this road during his mountain biking reign. Great views of the San Fernando Valley, Canyon Country and the Tehachapi Mts. Don't be surprised to see deer, bobcat, fox and lots of quail.
210 fwy to Hubbard St (north) to Eldridge Ave (west) to Sayre St (north) ends at Veterans Park (left and drive to the end parking lot) Trail head starts past the 200 feet past the chained drive on the left. The park closes at dusk.
