Ridden Trail: Once a month

, from Thousand Oaks CA Summary: A good trail for new MTB'ers (nothing steep or loose), a smooth and fun roller. Surprisingly little poison oak along the trail, some parts of Wildwood are covered with it. Once you drop into the canyon (toward the tee-pee) you'll run into the stream, for an easier crossing (especially in the winter/spring) backtrack 100 yards up the trail and take the singletrack on the left (on the right if you're coming down) to the no-longer-used concrete dam and cross on the upstream side. Recommended Route: Same as above. Other recommended trails in the same area: Once you get bored with Lynnmere, work on technical skills on Stagecoach Bluff trail and Santa Rosa (ride up the switchbacks and down the backside for a higher speed ride).
