Trail Directions
West from Topanga Cyn on Mullholland Hwy (approx 4.5 miles) Left turn on Stunt Road. Jeep road is on the left approx 1.6 miles up Stunt Road. Bear Left at the corner where the telephone poles are. Continue UP to summit and proceed downhill (mostly) and Road lets out at Old Topanga Road at the top. You can also go straight through Old Topanga and decend back to Mullholland (left) on various singletracks. There is a singletrack on left about 3/4 mile from top which was closed to bikes at one time which is very nice and real technical, which lets out on Mullholland West of Old Topanga. The climb has a few merciless switchbacks which are BAD.

Summary:
Nice little ride and some interesting views as you climb through Red Rock canyon. This part of the ride which is a bit over a mile is moderately steep but the climb after you meet up with the Calabasas Motorway (basically after turning right past the bench)is brutal with some very steep pitches and loose conditions--a real lung buster. There is some decent singletrack between the Top of Topanga and southward for the firsat mile or so before you hit the motorway.

Recommended Route:
Starting at the top of Topanga ride the ridge to Old Topanga Road. Take that down to the entrance to Red Rock and proceed throught the park to the Calabasas motorway and back home.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Trippet/eagle rock.
