Summary:
When knocking spelling, be sure to spell check yourself!!!! rite? Just an observation, no insult intended. Great trail. Directions above will get you there. A fun half day ride would be towne trail to 2N08 to 2N17 to cabin 89. Then take a right and head up lower-pineknot trail to 2N08 to grandview and down upper-pineknot to 2N08 back to towne trail.

Recommended Route:
Description is good, lots of steep and loose trail=fun
Use pineknot trails for a solid hardpack ride back up.

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Many, Many, Many. For those who think Big Bear only offers fire roads...keep it up...we'll keep our singletrack to ourselves. Otherwise, check in with the local shops for the standard tours, then step it up and ask about the 'other' trails, there are many.

Summary:
a few corrections - its Cabin '89' and its a 'trail'
not a 'trial', u wont see judge judy on this one!!!
easy to find - where pineknot trail and 2n17 meet, follow 2N17 west about a half mile, youll come to a
rite turn thats doubletrack and seems like it ends out
on the vista, keep goin over the edge.....

Recommended Route:
down Cabin89 trail, back up Pineknot is a hoot...
try Castle Rock if you got some balls..

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Plantation - Wet Dream - CastleRock - Grout Bay -
