Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode this trail just after the rains and it did not hold up well. I found the trail to be quit boring but maybe that was because I hit way too much mud. In any event, this trail did not make a good first impression and definately is not a decent trail to ride after the rains. Would have been nice to see the single track that everyone speaks about but could not get through all the mud to find it. This trail may be better in the Spring or Summer when it is dry.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Bonelli Park is not the place you want to go if you are looking for scenic all day ride. It is the place you want to go if: 1. you live in the area need a quick fix. 2. you are riding with a beginner 3. you are riding alone. Bonelli has single track , fire road , climbs, descents, obstacles. they can be extremely hard or extremely easy. Its dependent on your level of fitness and capabilities. the wildest animal I have seen here is a coyote and only one in the 10 yrs I have been riding here. It is a great place to ride at night, though it is closed you can still get in. Recommended Route: Park at Bracket airport. jump the chain and head up the hill.

Weekend Warrior Summary: I don't care what the majority of people say about the riding here. It is a fun place to ride. There are all kinds of riding and if you really do some exploring you can find sections of really fun single and double track. Most of the trails are not too technical but are great for people like me trying to improve skills. Give it a shot and have fun. You get out of the ride what you put into it! Recommended Route: Get on the trail to the left before the entrance gate. You can either choose to go to the left past some horse stables or you can go to the right through a tunnel. Either way is fun.
For a fun little single track ride across the dam and pick up the trail to the right up a little hill. The single track follows the road for about a mile or so. From here you can pick up a fire road to the right and check out the lake or you can take a hill down through a water crossing through what is called the Nam Jungle.
Pick up a map of the park at Incycle in San Dimas. The map has all the trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: Chino Hills State Park

Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode this with some buddies of mine spring 2005. It rained alot early in the year. A lot of short climbs and some rocky sections. Mostly single track with some fire road.
We had to hike a bike through a section of stagnent water about 2 foot deep for about 20 yards. Clinging to a chain link fence for support while wading through this muck and somehow hoping it would be the best way to cross without getting our feet too wet, but it did not work. I guess there is a river or creek that flows though the bottom of the valley or just over flowed because of the rains. Thinking back now, I cant believe I actually walked through it. Was totally gross.
I would say this is a good trail to ride if you live close by. Some of the climbs were tough. I dont remeber any real technical sections.
