Skywalker Trail

Possibly the best singletrack in Marin. 2 1/2 miles of perfect flowly exposed switchbacks turns. The trail starts at the top of Big Rock Ridge. There's really no way of getting around the climb; the trailhead is around 2000 feet and the end is at sea level. The best route is up Luiz fire road which is a tough spin but the descent is worth it. You get a fast and exposed ribbon of dirt to flow down. The middle of the trail is fun, but there are some scratchy bushes. The top and bottom are to die for. Occasionally you'll see some hikers but they're usually courteous as long as you are as well. You'll see another rider once in a while too. I'd ride this trail everyday if I could. You'll want to set aside a few hours to complete the whole loop but if you do, you won't regret it.

Amazing trail, the best singletrack in Marin possibly

Recommended Route:
Up Luiz if you can deal with it. Riding up the trail only gives the hikers more time to call a ranger

Other recommended trails in the same area:
Stinkfist, IVC, Burdell, Whopper
