Weekend Warrior Summary: The first hill is to steep. The single track to the right is along the creek but ends about a mile into it. If you like open fire roads..this one is for you

Ridden Trail: Ridden Once

Weekend Warrior Summary: Starting from Morgan Drive, the hiking trail along the stream is basically unrideable. If you go left, the grueling climb will bring you to a LOT more uphill, but at least it's gradual. There's a fork in the firetrail somewhere in the middle that goes downhill on the right which was unridable due to mud and cow tracks, but seems to head back to San Ramon. Keep heading up and you'll be rewarded with a a nice view of the Tri-Valley area. You'll eventually end up in Norris Canyon Estates and a fast paved downhill section back into town. Recommended Route: We basically did this ride ASS BACKWARDS. I recommend starting at Norris Canyon, heading up the road and turning into the gated residential area. The trailhead isn't too tricky to find, just keep heading uphill. Once you get past the first gate it's a fun downhill all the way till the end, though I would recommend hiking down the last grade because the fence is way too close to the end of the hill. I could see how someone can lose control and smash into the fence.
The only problem is getting past the guardhouse at the beginning...
