Thanks to the rangers and/or volunteers for removing the downed trees on Schultz Creek and Lawndale. Recommended Route: Channel Dr.->Richardson->2 Rock Quarry->Marsh->Lawndale->Road to Shultz->Shultz Creek->Flat Pig->Marsh->S. Burma->N. Burma->Channel Dr.

Weekend Warrior Summary: Spring creek Recommended Route: To go down it. It is a great downhill single track. But it is a bit rocky. Still it is my favorite trail for the last 3 years.

Racer Summary: Im still smiling...
Very very nice singletrack, though most is somewhat wide. Lots of fast trail with nice technical sections. Nothing to tight and twisty, but the rock gardens more than make up for it. Not much elevation/steep climbing, just enough to make it fun. Just watch out for all the hikers (mostly on trails going to, and around the lake), and wildlife that doesnt run away (saw several flocks of turkeys, herds of deer and only 2 equestrians, though quite a few hikers). Bring spare tubes, you get lots of practice rock gardening, and the snakebite potential is very high in sections. Recommended Route: I started at the Cobblestone parking area, went up cobblestone, to Rough Go, Marsh, Ridge, Marsh, S Burma, N Burma, Rough Go, Orchard, Cobblestone. Next time will either explore more or re-do the Burmas and Ridge and marsh trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: Skyline, Howell Mtn/PCU trails, havent done much more up north of SF

Cross Country Rider Summary: It is a very nice park - not very technical but fun. I ride it on 29er SS with 34X20 gears and it has plenty of aerobic challenge. Lawndale is my favorite trail - 3 mi of fun singletrack. If you have time you can easily string 20-25 mi of trails. I recommend it to singlespeeders or intermediate geared riders. Recommended Route: channel dr.->richardson->2 quarry->marsh->lawndale->road to shultz->shultz->flat pig->marsh->s. burma->n. burma->channel dr. (17.5 mi 2600 ft of climbing) Other recommended trails in the same area: Skyline, Tamarancho, Rockville.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I have ridden Anadel probably 600 times, frequently since 82',. This is one of the finest rides available in Marin/Sonoma. Once you get to know the area, you will find many different rides for what ever you are looking for. The best, is after you're ride you can take a dip in Lake Ilsanjo. Have respect for the occaisional equesterian and hiker. Recommended Route: Just go up, twice as high as the lake, the top. Many different trails. Other recommended trails in the same area: China Camp, Mt. Tam, and Tamarancho.
