Cross Country Rider Summary: I live about 5 minutes from this trail. Its a pretty sweet trail if you're looking for a quick ride. It can be done in about an hour or so at a moderate speed. Not too technical at all, My 55 year old mother does it all the time ( but she's tough) You're going uphill the whole way and can hook up with a fire road to get the very top if you want the extra work out (and view). The way down is nice and "flowy". They'll be hikers and cows so watch out. Recommended Route: Start at the "Big Rock" and start cranking up. You can either turn around when the single track turns to fire road or you can keep going until you reach the radio towers. Just turn around and head back the way you came. Don't go down the back side into Novato though. I've seen people get chased off by guys with guns.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Alright, this trail is pretty sweet. Anyone who is looking for a longer, harder ride should do the trail at least twice. It starts right on Lucas Valley road and goes to a pretty tough climb up to the top of this massive hill. The winding trail isn't predictable, so watch out for hikers. Then once your reach the top, you just turn around and hit the sweetest, flowyest, and smoothest downhill ever. Check it out. Recommended Route: Up and back, the same way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Tamarancho Boy Scout camp! (Best in the area.)
