Cross Country Rider Summary: I rode this for the first time yesterday. I took the reccommended rout of going clockwise. Are you guys sure there is less climbing that going counterclockwise? Seems to me if going counterclockise the climb is more gradual. I'll try counterclockwise next time and see how it goes. Other than that great beginner run! zero technical stuff, but lots of fun going fast down! Recommended Route: Clockwise for 3+ miles of climbing.

Reviewed by: Bill B Summary: Sounds like u don't know anything about Rangers... They CAN NOT! Cite for speed on trails, they do not have peace officer powers to write for moving violations they however can cite u for riding on the wrong trails that are marked. The rangers don't have the drive to be real cops and would never know what to do if they caught u.... They usually call for the Sheriff's Office to come cite u... Have fun and don't worry about the Dicks

, from San Jose Summary: The Trails are good but the rangers are Dicks! They go out of the way to radar people coming down hills and won't hesitate to give you a ticket for riding on a non-legal trail that has no signs posted. Main point-Be careful! great riding but you have to be ready for a scamful bunch of want to be cops.

, from San Jose Summary: Fire roads with nice views. It would be nice if they legalized some of the single track. This is a good eveing ride to stay in shape if you live close by (which I do). Nothing technical about the (legal) trails at all except for some relatively fast switchbacks dropping towards the resevoir. Dirt gets loose in the summer and I noticed this weekend that many of the corners have had gravel sprinkled on them. Recommended Route: clockwise loop. If it is really hot, stay to the right at the second Y (the one after the first picnic bench) as it is shadier.

, from Amaden, San Jose, Ca Summary: Don't worry about the Rangers they are non existant in this park. They can't take your bike, there is no section in the penal code or county muni code for that. They can cite you but first have to catch you! This is the same trail as Quicksilver Park... This trail is great. I Walk / Hike and bike this park and all of it's varied trails. They are fun and eventful with some very nice scenery. The start is sort'a tuff but once on top it's smooth sailing from there. Try Bull Run,it's all up hill and a bitch! HAve fun and Ride! Don't forget to bring atleast 2 water bottles. Recommended Route: Just get there!
