, from PACIFIC GROVE, CA Summary: pretty sweet, seems like an excellent place to train and has the ability to stick a lump in your throat if you just lower your seat and let go of those brakes, you'll need em' if you find the single track i'm talking about, but it gets steep and technical back there. Recommended Route: i'm not going to give it all away, so here is the general route. start at the rodeo beach parking lot, head west up the hill past the bunkers and keep climbing, lucky for you it's paved. keep going up even where the road got jacked from the earthquake until you connect the ridge. once you almost get to the communication tower, look down, you will see equestrian stables. see the single track? bomb it. look out for runners and hikers, lot's of nice folks out here. once you get to the stables, start climbing again and find you the ridge, keep mashing those pedals up, up, up, then choose your decsent. not long, but very rewarding. when you pedal up, you pedal up, when you hit down, you are going down. enjoy, and have a good attitude, cause if you were that good, you would probably have a great attitude.
