Weekend Warrior Summary: Yes I've only ridden it once but from now on it's my go to trail. The singletrack is awesome. I couldn't find any jumps but I'll be looking next time I go. The route I took was a constant climb until I got to the water tower then it was the funnest singletrack I've been on. Just cool switchbacks and tight turns. The area isn't that big so exploring it shouldn't take too long but it was 95 degrees out so I just wanted to go home. I loved it out there. I'll be going back for sure. Recommended Route: I entered at Ygnacio and Cowell. I took the trail head up and made my first left. I followed it down to a uphill singletrack. After wearing my self out I saw a very steep uphill trail. I followed that up to the water tower. At the water tower I took the singletrack right next to it and I came out right back where I started. Other recommended trails in the same area: Castle Rock

Downhiller Summary: the whole area is generally a great place for many types of biking. the jumps are pretty tight but the things i noticed most about the trail is the diversity. i saw a bunch a drops near the top, jumps all over, and a great loop trail around the top area near the radio tower.
I very much recommend that you take it from the radio tower at the top and then make your way exploring on the hills it is overall a terrific ride but wouldn't recommend group ride cause of the single track and sometimes the huge climbs Recommended Route: i live very near the area so i say take ygnacio to chystal ranch and then hop a couple fences to the radio tower Other recommended trails in the same area: the whole ridge line for some fire road riding

Cross Country Rider Summary: The effects of the quarry are still seen today. There is great terrain right now, but even better if you bring a shovel. Word on the street is that some "people" are going to build up the area right above boundary oaks golf course with some table tops, ladders, and other goodies. But nothing until x-mas break. Recommended Route: Go to boundary oaks golf course. In the driving range parking lot is the enterance for the poliece shooting range. Just ride up there and you're in hucking and drops country. I hear there might be some ladders being built soon. Other recommended trails in the same area: Shell ridge is cool. But only if you know where to go. Castle rock park is better. Also, most people don't know about Mt. Diablo itself. Ride 2 miles past the ranger gate on North Gate road and find some cool trails.
