Summary:
Where we started was the bottom of the hill, which leads up to the state park. We did this to avoid the three dollar parking entrance and we were gung ho enough to start from the bottom. Its about 1.5 mi to the parkl then from there you proceed to a little camping area that leads you to the beggining of the trail riding. You will be able to follow signs to the trail head. It is very inclined, were talking about sixty to eighty percent inclinded the whole way to the top. Some parts of the trail level off but then you start off again. There is a few parts of the trail that has some of the hardest technical sections that yet to be conquered. I am not a pro rider or anything but some parts are killer. It might seem short but the incline kills all the way to the top. It took me and my buddy about 1hr ten min to get to the top. It took us about thirteen minutes to ride down, Yikes! Good ole disc brakes huh. The summit has some killer scenery shots all around. You can see the S.F. from this point. The summit trail should be ridden by only serious mountain bikers, going down is a very fast decent with many objects in your way.
