Cross Country Rider Summary: I love this trail. There's lots of single track with some technical sections, but also some smooth switchbacks which are fun and easy to climb on. Overall, I had a great time on this trail. Recommended Route: Just take the standard route which most people ride.

Cross Country Rider Summary: I ride China camp at least once a week. It's a lot like Upper Campus in Santa Cruz where there is a network of trails that you can get lost in for hours. You can find some intermediate downhill and some more advanced cross country, but for the most part its pretty mellow cross country. I would say the front side is easier than the back side. Recommended Route: I like starting on the backside in Dominican by the old convent.

Cross Country Rider Summary: Many single track riding with switchbacks to make the climbs easier. The backside is much more technical and is geared toward an advance intermediate or higher skill level. The riding is mostly shaded and has some great views of the bay near the top. I recommend riding here on weekdays when the trails are less populated. Overall, China Camp is has lots of single tracks and can be a fun place to ride for all types of riders. Other recommended trails in the same area: Tamarancho & Annadel

Weekend Warrior Summary: China Camp is a great place to go and have a fun ride. There are roughly two parts - an easy/intermediate part if you choose not to go all the way up and a intermediate/advanced part if you go all the way up and take the back side. Recommended Route: I'd take the front side for more speed and fun. Going all the way up can be a bit too gnarly for an XC like me.
