Ridden Trail: Every few months

Downhiller Summary: Check out a few write-ups on jumps here:

Just about once a year the jumps get modified significantly. The original design began with a large dirt halfpipe with a dirt spine and table next to each other in the middle. That dirt eventually became a series of 3 tables, with some of it going to a mini-pump track inside the far table (one of the largest jumps in the park). The far right jump eventually grew into a multitude of tables and rollable large tables w/ dips in the middle. The City set aside a monthly budget to maintain the jumps. Although this public park floods in the winter, the outer sections are still rideable.
There are 3 port-a-potty's (1 w/ handicap access), a drinking fountain, payphone, and plenty of parking (one entrance, not gated, but fenced). BART is doable if you're willing to ride 5-7 miles+ from the station.
The closest food is McD's, Subway, Chinese, and Mexican in the plaza 1 block west. BBQ's are not allowed in the park, but they are at permanent BBQ grills in the waterpark just east of the jumps. Watch out for lil' kids that wander away from the mini-oval track and bmx-style 3-berm track. Recommended Route: There are lines galore at this park. Almost everytime I go, I see someone hit something new that I didn't see the month before. There are no true doubles, so everything is rollable. All levels will find something fun, as long as they are open to new things. The park is right next to a paved trail, so lots of Roadies slow down to watch people jump. I've even seen a mom & dad go for a spin on the bmx track w/ their kids as if they were on CX bikes instead of their road bikes... Other recommended trails in the same area: Pleasanton Ridge, SR BMX, & Livermore BMX on Patterson Pass. Being jumps, you can really tire yourself out by sprinting you butt off. Take the kid here if you want them to pass out so you can have a nice quiet evening w/ the spouse (or baby's mama/daddy).
