Meadows Canyon Trail
2 reviews
 3.5 of 5

Pretty cool trail for beginners. You start off by entering the lone oak road parking lot. Go up the hill about 15 yards and on your right sied you will see the entrance to the fire road. Once you pass the entrance stay on your left and you will gradually go uphill for about half a mile (very gradual incline). Make a right at Curran Trail. Curran is a cool downhill for beginners, be careful with the dogs and old folks since its a short trail theres a lot of casual hikers. Then Make a right at Wildcat Gorge. Wildcat is a chill trail by the creek about half a mile long, rocky road, be cauitious in the rain it can get kind of slippery. At the end of Wildcat you will end up at the parking lot.

If you want to challenge your uphill stamina start at Wildcat and hit up Curran. Curran is kinda nasty going up.

Summary:
I agree, this trail is pretty fun and challenging for beginners. This trail has it all...the short and steep up hill, the narrow roads, the long challenging uphill, the exhilarating downhill, and the amazing views. But be careful with those tree trunks by the creek..i ate it there last week...nothing major and fun nonetheless.
