You must sign up for the ride at SFWATER.ORG for the ride schedule.The ride is sponsord by the water dept.of SF. so they put you in groups with trail leaders.The ride starts off with a 2 mile up hill about 1200 ft. climb,then meanders on fire roads past some very senic sites unseen by anyone except water dept. rangers.On the ridges above pilarcitos lake on the west side and san andreas on the right.Below and between the cahill ridge are 2 ponds, and outhouses are every 2 miles, no water (ironically).
