, from Marina, Ca Summary: Many choices, choose wisely or end up in endless sandpits. Recommended Route: Park at the intersection of 8th st.and 8th St. cut-off, past the DoD center(former hospital). pick a trail and find your own way. Other recommended trails in the same area: Just so people know, an equestrian group has plans to build a 340+ acre Horse Park in this area of Ft. ord. For now the trails are open and fast, just watch out for hikers/horses, especially on weekends.

, from monterey ca Summary: take the wife and kids on this trail. This is not a shredder trail but any weekend will have 10-20 cars at the trailhead with all kind riding. I've been seeing single speeds and tnadems . There is so much room and so many trails that it is rare to see more than one other set of riders on a ride. This is mostly rolling single track in the oak trees but you can find some good climbs and downhills that last seven or more miles. You can also climb the hill and enter the seaotter race course from this trail set. This is a locals anytime ride here , Recommended Route: jpark behind DOD building and enter any trail Other recommended trails in the same area: Soquel forest, BLM Salinas Toro Park
